Tuesday morning update. Eddie took Rosie in for her 8:00 a.m. post surgery check up with Dr. Walker. That tiny hole she had last week seems to be closing on its own so we may not need to have more stitches! Everything else looks good, the other stitches are holding nicely, the skin is healing and Dr. Walker is very pleased with her progress. She has another check up in two weeks. The plan is that we will not feed her the night before or that morning so if the little hole does need a stitch, they can put her under and make that repair. I really don’t want that to happen – so I’m asking everyone to keep that tiny hole in the back of their mind and visualize it as closed. I will try to get a photo tonight so you can see what I am talking about.
