This morning Eddie took Rosie to Dr. Anderson at ASEC. After examining her, he thinks what is actually swollen/impacted is a lymph node that is abutting the salivary gland. The lump is harder than it would be if it was a salivary gland. He wants her on another round of antibiotics for a week and then he wants to see her again. He doesn’t want to do surgery until he is certain there is no infection present. So we are still in a holding pattern for at least the next 5 days. Good news is that she is happy, she had a great time out yesterday 🙂 Bad news, I will have no fingernails left soon 🙁
