We are home from the vet. Dr. Lupo was able to keep her still enough using a local anesthetic to pull some skin over her ankle and stitch the area closed. BUT because that is one of the few moving joints in her leg, it has to stay immobile if it is going to work. As you can see she has a bigger bandage today to keep her leg from moving. If this fails, we will have to look at grafting skin and that takes us into the danger area of putting her under general anesthesia. So keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Rosie is not happy about this new bandage, she wants to move and it won’t let her…if only I could explain this to her 🙁

Lack of movement or not…she is still a sweet and happy girl.
