I just wanted to share this post from Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue about Scrat’s two friends. They are in serious need of assistance both in positive thoughts and in financial support. These boys are also victims of greed and hoarding. With your help, they can live healthy active lives and carry on Rosie’s work in partnership with Marley’s. Who can resist these boys? Puppy Mill Chihuahua/ Pomeranian Review: These are pics from rescue day. Needless to say we were shocked at their condition and sympathetic to what they had been through. Each has probably spent a life time suffering in complete neglect, with but one propose–to service an “owner” who sought to make money. Each of our little ones are doing stupendously well, but each have serious medical conditions including significant, heart murmurs, tumors and of course partial jaws (or missing) and vitally or completely no teeth. Periodontal disease is serious as a heart attack and, if left untreated, WILL cause heart disease and other life threatening internal issues.

Scrat has had surgery to remove a massive mammary tumor, Stuart Little is receiving meds to address his heart murmur as well as his severe periodontal disease and the little Pomeranian boy is having a gigantic tumor removed from his belly. These surgeries are costly but worth it. Scrat will have a career in education now that she is living with Cinnamon and Stuart Little is bound for OC where he too will be active in service to others. I know that we have been asking a lot lately but its necessary and of course greatly appreciated. Every penny that is donated will go to these pups and if we have any left over, it’ll go towards spay and neuter efforts in the very area where they were seized.
