In August 2013, Rosie fostered a litter of orphaned kittens. Ultimately only one kitten survived and she is in a wonderful home. Over the weekend I received this beautiful rug made by Michele Benson commemorating that moment of pure love and joy on Rosie’s face as she cared for her little ones.

Next month will mark the first anniversary of Rosie’s passing and I wish I could say the pain has lessened but it hasn’t. Scrat is a beautiful, loving little soul and Monet is a diamond in the rough. I love them both dearly but combined they can’t fill the void in my heart and in my soul left by my little Rosie.

I will treasure this wonderful gift, as I treasure everything you’ve sent to me for and about Rosie, she will always be the light and the love of my life.
