10:30am – Scrat is at the vet for her surgery today. She could not figure out why there was no breakfast this morning and why she had to ride in that crate, but I promised her she’ll get plenty of food and cuddles when she gets home ! Keep your fingers crossed that she comes through the surgery with no complications, and that if this is cancer we get it all!

5:08pm – Scrat is out of surgery, resting comfortably and will get to come back to Malibu tomorrow. We will know more about her cancer tomorrow as well. Whatever the case, with all the support she has, her life will be happy and full of love!!!

6:54pm – Nurse Spike at VCA just texted me this photo of Scrat! She is “comfy and enjoying her pain meds…” as would we all after a major surgery. We won’t know her cancer status until tomorrow so me and all of the folks at Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue are on pins and needles until we know!!! xxoo, Cinnamon
